I find it really odd as to how many people really dislike Chuck's singing.......i don't think i ever had a problem with it, and my favorite type of singing is immense brutality lowness.
I don't really classify Chuck's vocals as Death Metal.......nor do i really consider Death a Death Metal band (even with the incredible irony). I think of Death more as a thrash band, or possibly just traditional Heavy Metal that paved the way for Death Metal. With this in mind, i think Chuck's singing is probably the best possible for his music.

I can't believe only one person said Nathan Gearhart from Vehemence was good. He's great. If you haven't heard Vehemence, I highly suggest you do so. Plus Travis Ryan from Cattle Decapitation is very impressive.

Spawn of Possession vocalist is a great one... the first singer was the drummer but now i've heard they've hired a guy for touring... anyway i wonder if he ever did a show playing his fucking incredibly technical drums AND singing ???

On the Chuck critisizm I would have to disagree. I think he has a fantastic voice. Unlike most extreme metal vocalists, he can really express his emotions which is rare in this monotone vocal genre.
Id like to also say that I cut my finger and it hurts really fucking bad.

Dunno if u guys have heard of the band Circle of Dead Children but their vocalist is fookin amazing certainly would fit in with any Cryptopsy type stuff
