Good choice in picks

I forgot that I bought some D Addario 10s also yesterday. Normally I use 9s and one time I bought 11s. 11s are too thick and 9s are too thin now. I like these the best...good for Eb.

At the shop I go to the Jazz III come in red and black. But the reds are usually II. I accidently grabbed a handful of jazz IIs then went back yesterday and asked if I could swap em for IIIs...they but the IIs in the IIIs section...dumb employees

Yeah, I didn't like them at first, but I'm starting to come around.
I'm going to see them with Death By Stereo, Himsa, Ed Gein and With Honor

Ed Gein is a very badass local band.

http://www.ed-gein.cjb.net is their website....if anyone cares...

Oh yeah....I didn't "buy" anything to put in this thread....but I am going to get the new CC album and the new God Forbid album tuesday...and possibly the new Opeth dvd if the store has it.

Not too bad in the least. They're using some clean vocals now that they didn't use on "Determination"....I'm not sure if I like them too much, but that'll probably grow on me. But wow, the rhythm section on this is tighter than 12 year old virgin girl......yeah, I'm not too original.
And Jeff Loomis on "Soul Engraved"??? Where did THAT come from? I'm not sure, but I know I like it....

Oh yeah, the store I went to did NOT have the new Cannibal Corpse album.......I was expecting that in the least, I really didn't think they'd have God Forbid.
Hmph.

"Anti-Hero" rules. The riffs.. good lord.

I'm not too sure about the clean vocals either, but still. I can tolerate them.

That's a damn shame. Spiritcrusher did a good Psycroptic tab a few weeks back though.

I love that film. Pitt and Norton are excellent in it. That reminds me, Meatloaf is in it, hahahaha! He puts in a pretty good performance too.

The last DVD I bought was the Redux version of Apocalypse Now. I can highly recommend it to anybody who hasn't seen it.

about 2 weeks ago i sent Nazgul 8 bucks for 2 cd-rs of their album DE EXPUGNATIONE ELFMUTH. They said they ran out of real copies.
Anyone who is a fan of medieval ( or as they say "orkish") black metal should definately hear them now. Go to www.na-webzine.com and navigate your way to the mp3 section. I dont know what language it is in. If you dont either, you will find the mp3s under "telechargaments" then go down to where it says mp3s and if you go to page 4 and scroll down you will find the song In Summis montibus (by Nazgul). Also see thier website www.nazgulmusic.it

Yeah, I ordered the Psycroptic and Cryptopsy albums from Relapse's American store (taking advantage of the good exchange rate, he he!) and it took about 2 weeks. I was quite impressed because I'd ordered stuff from America before and waited 2 months for it to arrive. They must have got a guy attempting to row the Atlantic to bring it over!

English version!!! how did i miss it?!
Yeah, the vocals were a bit hard for me to get used to, but i think the impressive keyboards make up for any other shortcomings.

I ordered the Dim carcosa shirt from ancient rites a couple of weeks ago, they say its on its way, Hell yeah!

Crikey, that's like £18 or something! The one shirt I ordered worked out at £15. Where did you get yours from?

Can only be a good thing as I like his vocals on None So Vile. Unfortunately that is the only album of theirs that I own.

Uh, I don't know... what's a spine ? If you're talking about any part of the case though, it's all black. (except for the back cover)
