Yeah well I'm thinking of getting a Arbiter Flat Series drum this week...

I know I know, it doesn't look like "stable, loud and heavy", but I have tried one at a friends place.
I know drummers who play for over 7 years and they rated the drum very good.

Plus I don't have a lot space here

if you want to play black metal drums, the arbiter flats kick will probably fall apart. I've never played one...but they just look so flimsy. id just be scared of hitting too hard and the drums falling off the stands. but if you're looking for a kit thats pretty small and sounds decent look at the new Tama stagestars. The drum sizes are small, but its more than just heads.
as for practicing black metal drumming, just practice your blastbeats and double bass until they get real fast. start slow and work your way up. a metronome helps with that. and hold the sticks with your palms facing downward. itll feel awkward for a little while but once you get used to it its more comfortable and gives you more stamina

Lol, yes I know, they look flimsy

Well, I must say, I saw 2 drummers play on a flatdrum...

First one was slow deathmetal, was cool...
The other one was pretty hard staccato (blackmetal)... He said one of the toms was moving when he hit it...

Well yeah, if you screw the really tight, I think they will hold??

And there are 2 more reasons why I'd buy them: they sound really good, and they don't cost much...

I bet that Tama goes over 1000euros (or $ ) ? A standard flat series goes for a 500...
I added a picture too for you who don't know what flats are - although my friend's is another model.

That thing looks like it would fall apart. If I were you I would jsut save up so you can get a real drum set like a TAMA or something. Plus you will get better at drums and then like it so much that you wish you had a better set, and I am sure of that.
Also I have a quick question.... Do you guy's think that Premier drums are good? I liek the Mapel set or something even though they are about 2,100-2,600 U.S. dollars.

well since I couldn't find them Arbiter nowhere, I ordered a Tama Swingstar (with an extra cymbal and doublekickpedal)

But trust me, those Arbiter don't fall apart , hehe

They DO produce a good sound. The one thing is: it's not as loud as a full drum...
Thats the only big difference.

yeah, they're pretty good, we used to have one of those sets in a rehearsal space which I beat the shit out every now and then, they're not cheapo though. kickass sounding floortom and bass. the snare kinda did hurt your ears (piccolo)

A helpful site to learn stuff on drums if you don't know how to play good at all is www.thedrumclub.com
Go there and then go to lessons and it will help you lots with like hand coordination and warm ups and shit.
Good luck man.
Hail!
