I'm sure that's not the least bit offensive. And being pro-Israel is offensive to people who are anti-Israel. Pointing out that Scott Ian is a Jew is pointless and condescending, so cut that out.
That being said, I don't find S.O.D. especially offensive. But they do insult most of the ethnicities there are to insult, so I'm sure someone would find them offensive. What's offensive doesn't have to be what's disgusting. That's why we have different words for the two.
