best live shows
i was wondering if anybody could give me a list of best live death metal bands. the only death metal show i've been to was dying fetus and they blew me away. i'm going to see cephalic carnage next month if anybody could tell me how they are live it could be great.

Cephalic Carnage is the best fucking live band ever! They get into....they really really get into it. You'll see what I mean once you see them. Unfortunatly the bassist left, he has a cordless bass so he would do flips off stage into the pits while playing...but they still rule.
I just saw Dying Fetus also, where you at Showcase theater (California)?

kataklysm was with dyign fetus, they were real good. hate eternal was supposed to be the headliner of the show but they got is an accident and weren't able to play. i'll be seeing them in next month though

Morbid Angel has to be one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Every time.
Cephalic Carnage is awesome live, I've seen them twice. I'm not big on their music, but as somebody already said in this thread, they get into it. They introduce each song with a story that is totally unrelated to the song, and sometimes they break into poetry before they start grinding again. Funny guys to watch.

Dying Fetus is amazing live.
Hate Eternal is pretty good.
Macabre has amazig live sound despite everyone else on the bill (Cannibal corpse, Hate Eernal)having shit mud sound. All a geat live show which wil have you laughing and moshing all at once.
Six Feet Uder is ok, don't let the hardcore fags who come to the shows ruin ity for you.

i just saw behemoth last saturday. awesome! the sound was brilliant, and so they just raged on the stage. they did some firebreathing also...and their drummer!!!!
he's like a freakin' machine, fast and accurate.

Opeth and Vader is the only Deathmetal I have seen live.(is this Death, or other genre?)
Opeth was good enough. I find their songs a litle boring.
Vader was...  They talked like they did not respect Norwiegen metal very mutch... Polish jews  . The strange sliding solo's may be hard to play, but they sounded weak. No power in them at all, quite boring stuff... The vocalist also played lead-guitar, and the rest of the band was also quite passive.No headbang or anything.
The footswitch is not comonly known in Polan I guess... The band used a hell lot of time during, and between the songs to change the ampsettings 
They also spent a shitload of time walking on and of stage just becouse the bassist had to change bass a few times. 
The played an hour, and walked on and of four times.
Needless to say... I did not like Vader
