It's blacked out from New York to Ottawa. That entire region gets its power from Quebec Hydro I beleive. So if you are going to blame someone for this, blame those seperatist french Canadians. Damn frogs.

I know the problem is in New York, but the same problem continues up through New York, into Canada, and hits Ottawa. And most of the east coast, at least New York and New England, get their power from Quebec Hydro, which is located on the Canadian side of the St. Lawernce River.

U.S. and Canada are both pointing fingers at each other for the cause. They each say it was a plant on the other's side.
We were without power here for 12 hours (felt like about 60). We just got it back, but still have no water. I'm not sure if I have to go to work today. All traffic lights are down.
It's funny cuz the mayor of Cleveland imposed a dusk till dawn curfew for those under 18, yet the real threat at night is by people over 18. Blackout = More crime.
