I wrote this at work this morning. True story completely. It's about Walpurgis older brother. Thanks for the read.
" Trunk Space "
We were cleaning out the barn one day-
The car was sitting close by
Where it always used to be.
Me and my big kid were working hard
But we were having fun.
I thought I heard a bang from the house.
I wondered what he'd done.
I went about my business
Cuz I thought he was just running me,
But soon I found out differently
As you will come to see.
Now my car is not too big a Chevy
And the trunk not all too big,
But I found something in it.
Something I never dreamed would fit.
As I walked past the car
I heard ,"Mom ,let me out !"
I stoppped dead in my tracks.
I began to laugh and shout.
All 6 feet 5 and crazy
Was folded in my trunk.
He thought that he'd scare me somehow.
I knew he was a punk.
I said "How did you do that?"
And then I asked him, "Why?"
I was laughing so hard
That he almost made me cry!
Lovely mother that I am-
I thought of driving through the yard,
But I settled for bouncing the bumper
Up and down real hard.
The neighbors must have thought me nuts
Talking to my car,
But we've known each other long enough.
They wouldn't think too far.
FInally I gave him freedom.
He was glad to feel the breeze.
He'd learned things from the experience-
There's no room or trunk release.
I can hardly wait til my grandson
Is old enough to tell
The antics of his daddy
That grandma's love to tell.
