Hey, i got a four string bass, and i want a crisp sound from my strings., im currently using 105 (e string) gauge, i was wondering if there was any other gauges i could try that wud give me a better or equal sound??

hmm..now that depends on your style of playing and music. personally i use Elixir strings (when i can afford them ) the one i use is 130 for e-string so they are kinda fat.
i think u get more of a crispy sound with amp, preamp, fx etc. and kinda every new set of strings sounds crispy, how long they sound like this is of course dependable on quality, and unfortunately quality comes with a price.
I'd suggest you buy various sort of strings and experiment a lil, until you found some that go best with your style and music. i kinda did this for 2 or 3 years til i got stuck with the elixir...
