False chord help

Hey guys,

New to metal vocals here but trying to learn False chord. Been doing Fry for a fair while but they don't have the desired punch and power that false has. I've been trying to learn by doing the "sigh" but now I wanna add some of my own voice in as right now it still sounds fairly meh. Should it feel really lose in my throat? It doesn't have the same feeling in my throat as Fry did as that always felt pretty tight and using the muscles in my throat more than False does.

Anyone got any pointers at all?

Also, is it normal to have a scratchy throat after a session?
