I never understood why people won't go to shows alone, especially if they're going to regret missing those bands. I actually love going to shows by myself.

Coachella sold out so quickly. I wasn't really into the idea of going, but my girlfriend wanted tickets for a while... until we decided to just pay $80 to see Radiohead in Santa Barbera!
The tickets go on sale next Thursday... so, Dylan, if you didn't get Coachella tickets then I'd suggest grabbing some Radiohead tickets! I've never really gotten excited enough to make an effort to go to Coachella. Maybe one day. I'm just not big on festivals.

Dude! Dude! That's the exact plan I ended up making yesterday. Saw they were playing in Santa Barbara and me and my chica just decided to get tickets for that. We should all meet up. I'm so fucking stoked!
I've been to Coachella twice (I think the last time was, like 4 years ago). It was a lot of fun but festivals are my absolute LEAST favorite venue to see artists in. I think the two times I went was when you could buy one day passes which was awesome, but now spending $280 for 3 days and you only care about one day doesn't seem appetizing to me, especially when all 3 days are filled with blazing 100 degree heat, 70 million people, and expensive food/water.

I've been to a few gigs on my own (Nile and Dillinger Escape Plan amongst others); no big deal to me.

My personal feeling is that newer CC tends to form a pattern of two great albums followed by a somewhat mediocre one that sounds like the accumulation of leftover riffs from the last two. Gallery and Bloodthirst were great, but Gore Obsessed sounded like leftovers. Then Wretched Spawn and Kill were great, but Evisceration Plague sounded like leftovers. If this song is any indication, the new album is going to be great, too, and the pattern will probably continue.

I love the riffs, but for fuck's sake they need a faster drummer! I'm always waiting for Paul to crank out some really fast blasts but I'm always left wanting.

Yes. These are my thoughts. And yes, you should DEFINITELY go see Radiohead in SB... and we'll meet up. It'll be me, my CHICA, and 3 (or more) friends.

Sometimes I feel the same way, but he's consistently written or co-written some of the better songs on all of their albums the last 15 years or so, so I don't complain much.

Seriously. If not a fast drummer than a more creative one. It'd probably make me a much bigger fan if the drum patterns weren't so boring and stiff a lot of the time.

Anyone else having trouble having the site come up the past couple days? I've been getting a 504 code periodically here.

Yeah, it's not just you and your "magic box of wonders" - as computers are known in your neck of the woods - it's this piece of shit cocksucking website as usual. Is MT powered by a hamster on a fuckin' wheel or what?

I honestly think you should be more concerned about what a US nuclear power plant needs a battery charger for.

Patrik, we are dealing with Patrick here. And yes, I took delight saying that.
His fiance has the tractor. I don't think their yard is big enough for one or dry enough to use one, but it might come in handy sometime. She used to have a bigger yard and just kept it.
Hey, he's learned the fine art of rubber band placement in class there. Now that he's done with that he gets to play with other stuff.
