Love u 2, Souli!
Amadeus, what Gomers said. I have a friend that's done some artwork like that with flowers, but it may be a program and not a math skill art. So how did you do that?

I'm not too down with the mix either. Cymbals/hi-hats are way too intense. Rest of the drum set is hardly audible compared to the guitars. Too white-noise sounding to me. However, I'm also not a fan of the genre, so I'm not sure you should listen to me.
I may change my opinion with a new mix, though!

It does have a drum machine type sound to it. I honestly enjoy the production, it has a unique vibe; very eerie and extra scariness added lol. I'd be interested in hearing the exact same mix only with a loudened snare drum.

The software is called Fractal Domains and the operations are basically one distance estimation and two continuous potentials on the mandelbrot set, using complex stalks for the orbit trap and a little more than thirty thousand iterations for the calculation. Like I said, this is mostly doodling; learning where the controls are and such, you could probably do these without any deeper understanding of the math. Intend to construct some more complex images in the near future though!

I just got this message as I read this - it's ham flavoured .
Talk about timing!!
Amadeus, you're a pretty intense doodler. That's for sure.

I dunno, I've always though about complex numbers as vanilla flavoured. But still, these are fairly easy to generate, the artsy part here is knowing enough about the set to know where to zoom in and find cool details, like the repeating pattern in the second one. I believe each of them are zoomed at least 2000 times, so that does need a little bit of insight. It's actually easy enough to play around with that I'd recommend anyone who feels like it to give it a go.

We were at the science museum in Cleveland about a week ago and I was playing around with mirrors and tiles that would replicate series of images, but they weren't as intense as those.
I've seen fussy cut quilts that use the same concept with repetitious patterns and they are drop dead gorgeous, but I haven't attempted one yet. Had I ever dreamed how closely related sewing and geometry is maybe I'd have paid more attention.

Never too late to learn a new trick.
Tried out a few new ones, but now I'll stop fooling around and get down with the manual before composing anymore. See if perhaps I could find a neat concept or two to illustrate along with it; the application of fractal geometry on chaos might be a fun subject.

When I was looking for quilt designs I found a place where the person had taken google images or maps and done them. Those were bizarre.
Have fun with them!

Beat you to it like 3 years ago, brother. I even posted a little bit of it here. I'm still working on it, though. I'm incredibly lazy when it comes to writing, but I have the guitar written for about 5 full songs and what will eventually encompass 4 more.
Dino metal IS the wave of the future.
...or a ridiculous novelty that I'll eventually get bored with. We'll see.

The embarrassing thing is that you didn't have any Violence albums in there. Come on! At LEAST have Eternal Nightmare, son!
