i would have to say my favorite tunings are Eb, and C#. the lowest i ever tuned to was B, and i thought it was cool.

Low tunings remind me of Tony Iommi, considering he was about the first person to use them, and he actually did that due to losing the tips of two of his fingers...

I've got my V tuned down to B cause i was jammin along with some Hypocrisy songs....the strings are just kinda flappin there lol...and yes, it sounds all muddy.

i got my warlock tuned to D (not fucking goddamn stupid ass muhfuckin drop d!)

or Obituary tuning or far beyond driven tuning....thats really as low as i tuned and actually played it for more than a day
