Favorite Tunings
I was just restringing my guitar, and I was wondering what tunings you guys have a special attachment to, like ones that you usually leave your guitar in. I have my Gibson tuned to C# right now, that's probably my complete favorite tuning, and I just restrung my other guitar to B flat, Morbid Angel style for when I feel like jammin out some death metal sounding stuff.
So just let me know what the tunings you guys like the best are, and tell me why.

I like D very much.
This is a custom tunning (the numbes are showing how much does it needs to be up/downtoned)
E -4
A -4
D -3
G -5
H -4
E -4
It has got a sounding like you are playing on a very downtoned 7-strings without the E.

Actually, with logic, H would be the A, since H comes after G in the alphabet, and A comes after G in the musical alphabet.
So is it B or A?

Alright, the scale of musical alphabet is normally
'CDFEGAH'
If it has got one (or more) bass modifiers in it, the H is changes into B. Just like C changes into 'C sharp'.
'CsharpDFEGAB'

Probably man.....
here the C scale, the major scale with no sharps or flats runs as CDEFGABC for one octave.

Yeah, here the major scale is basicly the same, but there's a H instead of the B.

Nope... Once my giutar did came out of tune in the way of that tuning. I did precise it, because it was a bit off-key, and it sounded so cool, I kept that tuning, and now Black Section's giutarists uses it.

well I only have two guitars with Floyd Rose's so,my favorite tunings are
Eb for one and the other guitar C#
I don't like tuning below that because I hate 7 string tunings, don't ask why,I just do.
