Marshall MJ100 AMP
where i live there is no amp dealers but marshall,
i saw this at the store and the price is kind of good for me

beginner level on the guitar
music style i would like to play is doom metal,
my guitar brand .. well on the neck it says lone star!
i got it as a gift.. coz i never thought of buying one!
damn expensive!
5 pickups, and its very good i must add, i used it on my pc
with guitar fx box software, and i get great sound!
anyone tried this amp? any recommendations for a beginner?
and first post i must add!

if your a beginner dont go spending all your money on a 100 watt, buy a marshall used 50 watt amp first, then go with the 100 later on in your lifetime of playing.

i like marshalls im saving up for a half stack.
but yah about your guitar u said 5 pickups??
i think your talking about the switch that changes the humbuckers to singel coil is this true just cheacking. or if u really do have 5 pickups send a pick because ive never seen one lol sry i sound noob or just stupid its the weed

i saw a 6 pickup guitar. But it was only half pickup. I never felt like trying it out, but i bet it'd be super for sound qualities.
the marshall tone kicks ass for anything and everything.

i bet what you said is true... about humbuckers
whats the difference between humbuckers and pickups?
buy the way, its writteon on the guitar neck "lead star"
anyone heared about this brand?
and if they have a website?

humbuckers is wat u use for distortion.
it "cancels" out the hum while in that state.
if u put a single coil in distortion then your going to get a really annoying constant "hum" the humbucker gets rid of that and makes the tone real nice and mean

well, i wonder what pickups mad morgan of MARDUK uses in his strats... maybe some sort of modern replacements?
coz theres no hum from his guitars in a live show.

an update on my post about the 6 humbucker guitar. It was a fender strat model, old one, i think 1960 with a glitter gold like pickguard and a lighter shade of gold body. Painted glitter like though, they didn't make the body out of gold, lol. But it hade 6 half-a-pickup pickups, one on top of the other like-

eh, same idea, but they were connected at the ends. They looked like seperate pickups. and they were also black

It says it has Flanger, chorus, and etc....

Well it has Flanger, Chorus, and delay, which may supply you with stuff to make
melodic metal type of stuff.....
