if u say coolest guitar solos id have to say some of rage against the machine guitar solos r cool, the way he uses effects pedals and gets those sort of sounds r pretty amazing

I mentioned this in another thread, not the best or anything but I just heard a solo from the band Trivium-"Pull harder on the strings of martyr". Fucking awesome solo.

I know its not very long and interesting. But i always seem to have Ozzys - No more tears. solo in my head. just the last part. I like it.
Also what springs to mind is Gunners - November Rain.
OH YES!!.....AC/DC - Let there be rock (has to be live) - ONE HANDED SOLOS = BEST EVER.

Some of my favorite solos? hmmm I'd have to go with:
Suffocation - Pierced From Within
Dying Fetus - Nothing Left to Pray For
Flight of the Bumble Bee
Hate Eternal - Dogma Condemned
and my number one favorite solo is the one from TESTICULAR MANSLAUGHTER by CATTLE DECAPITATION!! \m/ \m/ Those guys fuckin rule!
i know these arent the most technical of solos but they speak to me
