Opeth seriously has beaten what they do to death. It can't take them more than 20 mins to write a song. They just string random riffs together with shitty transitions and call it disharmonic. Their style is so unimpressive now it's ridiculous people still suck their dicks.

People suck their dicks because they have an oral fixation. It was never about the music.
Opeth have steadily gone from a cool band I liked kinda but don't really pay any attention to, to a band I don't pay any attention to. It really hasn't been much of a big deal for me.

heard The Lotus Eater. some of the worst note patterns ive heard in a long time. those are the kind of riffs i might torture my drunk friends with, in full intention of sounding absolutely terrible. its easy too, cause if you mess up... it doesnt matter!!!
