Best Bass Pickups

Right now I have a pair of soapbar DX-5 pickups in my 5 string Ibanez soundgear series bass. I don't really care for them to be honest so I was looking to buy a new pair, that's where you guys come in. I need to a know a good brand to buy, I've heard good things about the Bartolini bass pickups.

Bartolini's and EMG's are a good way to go, but ive recently discovered the brilliant Nordstrand 'Big Splits' pickups, as they came in my new Warwick! they are growly, punchy and very versatile, i highly recommend them!

So far I'm leaning towards the Bart's, I've heard the most good things about them. But I'm really interested in the ones Tattered is talking about. I know he wouldn't suggest just some random bullshit.
