Question Peavey Vs Bugera

I've been looking for an amp thats good for metal and hardcore
from some suggestions I've been told that the Peavey 5150 or 6505 are good.
I've been researching and waiting for about a year to save up and now found that a Bugera 6262 is just as good with a lower price.

need help
any reviews or comparisons?

thanks

well the peavey's would be an obvious choice if you were going for quality alone. There is a thread here about those "boutique" burgera amps. I've never played them, but from what i know they are just a cheaper maid peavey rippoffs. I've played the 5150, which is sexy as hell, great metal tone, but has room for improvement on the price.

try them before you buy them. The bugera sounds slightly different, and has a digital reverb.

Now heres th eother issue, they're brand new and you wont truely know if theres any reliability problems until a year has passed and theres been alot of angry customers posting on the internet hahaha.

So far, i've heard failure rate is 1 in 4.

I just can't not like the 5150(6505) series. Modded or stock. I've owned several over the years and I keep coming back. My main amp the last year has been my FJA modded 5150II. It's gotten me through a shitload of gigs and touring with no problems.

Those Burgera amps are cheap knock offs. I couldn't imagine them sounding as good, nor lasting long. And with how cheap you can snag a used Peavey tube head like the 6505, 6505+, XXX, JSX, ect... I don't think it's really worth buying a cheap knock off of an already very affordable amp.

I wouldn't touch anything Behringer related with a ten feet pole.
You should only buy it if you're realy realy desperate and can't afford anything else, still though, if you need to save up to buy that amp, you can prolly wait a month or two more to get a Peavey.

And a 1 in 4 failure rate? That's ridicoulus. Not even the XBOX360 gameconsole has that
