so many people mosh differently and there are supposedly different kinds of moshing so how do you mosh?

i just bump into other people and like to run around in circles.

I hate metalcore and hardcore "dancing". I stay out of the pits for the most part. I'm always the guy trying to stand as close to the band as possible to watch them play.

In my city, moshing is so convoluted it is mostly just hardcore dancing.

The shit these kids here do is ridiculous and stupid (kinda like an argument between Bia and Transient).

For me, I just run in, low profile, and start spinning the bows around.

I dont like moshing, it makes my misanthropy increase even more... I prefer watching the concerts quietly, in front of the stage if I manage to arrive early enough, or however in a safe place.

j/k. I'm with MTM. Oldskool's the only way to go!! A lot of the time, I'm with all those fuckin nerds who just sit there up front and watch the band play but I at least try and start some movement up there too. but of course, the night is certainly never complete without spending some time right in the middle of things.

with a 1.5% blood alcohol level. i like circle pitting, but I've kids around the LA thrash scene just skip around in circles as if they were doing a rain dance. its stupid to look at. One time at an Agent STeel show i decided to join the "fun", i flailed elbows around and was pushing dudes and i was getting dirty looks.
