But now I play again. So phhooeyy.
I get my camera tomorrow. So I will probably take some picture of me cleaning my strings with after shave.

i used to boil my strings. They sounded like brand new for few days (they had that metallic sound) but everything went back to normal after those few days
|

Yeah I've heard the same thing... the best thing to do is save up and buy a new set. And when you buy that new set, wash your hands each time before playing and wipe them down with a cloth every so often, this will help prolong the new tone of your strings.
