Infact you can! But it requires a few things.
To use one head as a preamp, that head needs either a Line/Slave Out, or an FX loop.
To use another head as a poweramp, it needs either a Line/Slave In, or an FX loop.
Rack preamps already have a preamp out.
Essentially, you attach the out to the in.
