So when they're not in prison for sexual assault/alleged rape and kidnap and torture they are pushing the boundaries of mediocrity by creating music that doesn't suck, ok I get it. I mean breaking the law is such an un-cliched rock and roll thing to do! And naming yourself after a place in a fantasy story is sooo original 
It's a lame excuse that they probably conjured up because they wanted to appear uber cool, what with coming from Norway they have this 'grim' pretentious facade to up hold. |

They formed in 1992, it's not like they're some new upstart band trying to cash in on the oldschool spirit. I'm not terribly fond of them, but I don't think not wanting to share their songs is particularly unreasonable if they're doing it for artistic reasons rather than for money.
