Man, I feel old. Most of the fore-mentionad bands didn't even exist when I started playing, which was in the early 90's. Anyhow, it was definately Metallica who inspired me (although I rarely listen to them anymore).

loll OK maybe anyone will believe it but, no one, one day when i was 12 i feel something in my heart for playing guitar, like, falling in love, 3 and half years later, i bought my first guitar and i was listening to Nirvana and some metal stuff like COB, who putted me hard into metal shit.
Now Martyr, Jason Becker and Necro are my principale influences

No one particularly inspired me to start playing it. I just started one day.
Now I'm inspired mostly by Chris Arp.

I always wanted to play guitar so my mom bought me a bass.... LOL tl;dr skip to the bottem
anyways i got a job afterwards and bought a sweet, yet broke down, BC Warlock guitar that was cumishly pearly white...that i sold a year later and bought a nice ESP LTD f-200 with a floyd rose that i now hate =/
anyways i digress i just wanted to play guitar for like no reason but the guitarist that influenced me most to get better is muhammed from necrophagist, although i got a long ways away to get that good

I actually just had an epiphany one day and decided I needed to start playing. Up to that point I didn't have any interest in guitar. My biggest influence in the beginning was Jimmy Page. Dimebag has since become a huge influence and my favorite player. And these days Jason Becker is the biggest influence on my playing.

No an epiphany (not a guitar), like a sudden realization one day that I needed to play guitar.

Well, I used to listen to alot of Black Sabbath.. THEN! I finally heard 'The Red in the Sky is Ours' by At the Gates.. Holy fuck I was blown away and needed to learn to play guitar and write music like Anders Björler. I'd say hes my one and only influence nowadays, along with some others like the In Flames duo back in 'Lunar strain' and most of the other older swedish scene axe players.

Steve is a famous metal bass player who plays in Sadus. He also played as a studio musician/guest/member for bands like Autopsy, Death, Iced Earth, Control Denied, Testament, James Murphy and many more.
He is the first metal player to use a fretless bass I belive or at least one of the first.
For my inspiration it would be
James Murphy.
Miland ``Mille`` Petrozza.
Kerry King.
Trey Azagthoth
Steve Vai
Michael Angelo Batio (After I saw the Nitro Video with his 4 neck guitar)
