Amps and Effects padals
I was just wondering what kind of effcts pedals, processors and amps you guys use, and who the manufactuer is.
I play Through:
Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 60 with a 4x12 cab
For my effects I have:
Boss DS-1 Distortion
Boss MT-2 Metal Zone
Boss CE-5 Chorus Ensemble
Boss RV -3 Digital Delay \ Reverb
Boss NS-2 Niose Surpresser
Every thing sounds pretty good depending on how I have them set up.
What do you Like?

Well since I am not such a rich person and my parents don't pay for a whole lot of my stuff it's pretty cheap.
I use a Hughes & Kettner Triplex amp. It has a built in overdrive with reverb, chorus and delay.
And I have T-Bone distortion i like it 'cause it's really heavy.

Thats cool. You have far more for your age than I did In my golden years.
But I'm not rich either. I work as a sales person in a department store. Everday, I wake up, get ready, and drive 45 minutes to work and back, and bust my ass for a bunch of inconsiderate assholes! Mommy and Daddy never bought me SHIT! I work for my money. And everything I own I payed for myself. Plus I've been building my collection for some time now. All my spare change go's to my guitar.
I was just curious what other people like that is all.
Peace!

hmm, wish I had a marshall. I play through a fender ultimate chorus combo amp and use a boss distortion pedal and a digitech delay.
You'd be surprised how brutal of a sound I can get through my fender amp. I hate fender guitars and their amps suck, but it will do till I can start saving for more audio equipment. Priorities go to drugs and my car.

Personaly I hate Fender myself, just because ther're Hippy guitars. But I was looking through your profile and I saw Obituary listed as one of your favorit bands. To whom it might intrest Trever Perez from Obituary plays Fender Strats exclusively. Different for a Deathmetal band don't you think?

I know I worked for everything I have. Only I work at a farm driving tractors and that kinda shit instead of at a department store. and my parents don't give me much of anything either. My work is actually pretty fun but i don't get paid that much for it anyway. About $4 an hour.
Oh yeah and I forgot to mention that my distortion is a Darelectro one.

i use a very, VERY old crappy Peavy 50 watt amp. and i got the Wayne's World edition Fender Squier that i bought from my friend for 50$ in perfect condition when he got his Gibson Les Paul. (lucky bastard) had a death metal distortion pedal but i don't like death metal distortion(too much feedback) my band is like a mix between deftones and other heavier elements so alot of feedback doesn't go well with our sound. sold that one.

Hey, same here!! My drive is only about 20 mins, though. Everything else I can relate to.
My equipment:
- 1962 Gibson J-45 acoustic (handed down to me by my father)
- Samick Strat copy
- BC Rich Bich (bought second hand, in mint shape, with new case, for $200)
- DOD FX7 multi-effects processor
- Korg Toneworks AX1 multi-effects processor
- Proel volume pedal
- Yamaha KS 50 amp (125 WATT)
I also had an Ibanez wah, a Crybaby wah and a Yamaha stereo chorus pedal, all of which I sold after getting the multi-effects processors.
And like INVERTED, my collection has been gradually built up (over 6 years for me). And almost everything I own I paid for with my hard-earned $$$$$

I forget half the shit I've used over the years. Now I only have a Marshall Valvestate 1100 or something... I can't remember... it's been busted for well over a year now. I haven't play through an amp since I tested my King-V's new pickups at a mate's place (Peavy 212 Special is what he uses... it's great). I only use my friend's stuff. Another friend has a Peavy 5150 with 2 speaker cabs... I get to borrow that here and there. Another friend has what I'm buying atm... POD by Line-6. It has great amp simulation and I can plug it straight into my computer to record.

Heheh... good to see. They stuffed that up by limiting the EQ.

Hmm, here's an idea. Get a god damn job. Sorry, I just hate it when people say it's partly or wholly their parents fault they don't have money. Work sucks, but life with money can be great.
I have two set ups forpractice and recording with guitar.
#1 A 50 watt marshall amp with an Ibanez guitar and a boss ME 33 guitar prossesor (this is a great prossesor, doesn't sound cheezy like all the others).
#2 A 50 watt marshall amp with an ESP explorer and a DOD Grunge pedal (don't get fooled by the name, this pedal is HEAVY).
I like the marshalls because they have a solid sound for me to build on and the amps, not the stacks, have alot of power. I don't like their heads, but their cabs are OK.
