blues/fusion and improvisation

I know this has probably been asked before, but where are some good sites to look to for learning to compose blues/fusion songs and to improvise? I am not looking to become the next vai or satch, but rather to learn some basic stuff so I can play at a cafe on thursdays for fun.

Not sure what online sites you use but I'm sure www.wholenote.com www.guitarlessons.com or www.cyberfret.com should have something relating to blues/fusion. There's 100's of online guitar lesson sites.
