Sam is actually a good bassist. He doesn't just tune down and play roots. He gets funky.

He just plays some more notes than other bassists that are just bumping on the root-notes. But that isnīt funk for me. There are far better bassists than him.
But i have to apologize that this is the wrong thread. Itīs about favourite and not best bassists.

i dont think tom araya is actually good on bass, ive never heard him play anything decent on the bass.
