Have heard of Victor wooten before but never listened to him.
Just downloaded "classical thumb" of him. I thaught my mp3-player scrathes, but it was him who slaps with unbelievable speed.

I'll repeat Chris Squire from Yes. I would also like to add Larry Grahm and Bootsy Collins..........the original slappers!

I thaught the "inventors" of slapping were Marcus Miller or Stanley Clarke.

Nope. Funk started that craze. Larry from Sly and the Family Stone; and Bootsy from P. Funk (earlier from James Brown Band)

Pete Steele is the best by far. He can play and sing very well at the same time.

Les Claypool does it, Voctor Wooten does it, Sting does it and they are by far ( is that English???) better than Steele!!!
Well, he can destroy the strings with his thumb!!!

Yeah the song money kicks ass, the riff is quite easy to play, but sounds very smooth. and theres another song which has some bass grooves on, its called 'clocks' and ' Time'

HA HA!!!!
I donīt know the other bassists, but these???????
Fieldy, the moron-slapper
And thereīs nothing special about Sam Rivers(?). I donīt know whether thatīs right, but thereīs no need to know the name. Thereīs just one good thing about him: he plays Warwick ( i think, he plays one with the LEDs in the fretboard).

both limp bizkit and korn sucks at the bass department, sorry to break the news to you
my favorite chick bassist is P from dimension seven, her real name is Paula and she's a nice girl who told me all about the boss Odb-3 bass overdrive and the BFB-2 bass flanger, I've got her playlist hanging on my wall...
check out the photo, she also looks cute! and she plays ibanez prestige!
