my parents have been married for uhm....i guess 26 or so years. they fuss sometimes, but that's normal. they're really cool, too. i'm a good kiddo, so they let me do whatever i want, within reason. and everything i want to do is within reason. sooooeoe, i've got it pretty good! they don't even make me pay for food or rent and i still live at home.

I was adopted. Did I elude that I wasn't? If I did, I'm sorry. I was so young I don't know as that made a difference in my parental upbringing. It did make a difference in other things in my head though.

This poll treats adoption as being more or less a whole separate issue, unrelated to what it's interested in, so your boring paragraphs on your parents were, in fact, alluding that you're not adopted, and, for that reason, you could've saved us the trouble and posted nothing.

Parents split up when I was 5, got back together when I was 6, and they've been together since. I'm getting along with them a LOT better now than when I was living at home. My dad has become a Rocktron/Line 6 dealer so I'm a kid in a candy store whenever I visit him.

Probably would have been best not to single them out at all. If they were adopted by a married couple, the can contribute to the poll in the same way as anyone else.
Whining and bitching is what you lot do when I'm being a big meany and you need to have a good written cry about it. I tend to criticize harshly in a way that provokes whining. Maybe if you could hear my tone of voice you'd know the difference. In any case, whining implies a mental state I'm never in.

shooting the moon as i know it is when you are playing hearts and you wind up with all the cards. instead of getting all the points, you "shoot the moon" and everyone else gets all the points (each person gets the total amount, its not divided up)
if you've never played the game..getting points is bad. |
