I am by far one of the biggest Opeth fans, in terms of their music. However, I happen to absolutely hate the first 2 albums. Most people here seems to like their early black metalish shit more than their later stuff. Ughhh  |

hah, that made me laugh. trust me man, there are a plethora of opeth fans, and almost anyone exposed to them becomes obsessed for at least a little while. i wouldnt be so sure of yourself if i were you |

"When" is my favorite Opeth song. I love the mood on the whole My Arms, Your Hearse album.
The Baying of the Hounds is probably my favorite of the newer stuff. It was amazing live.

It'd be waay too hard for me to just pick one, but one of the songs that really stands out to me and I consider to be one of the most brilliant: Godhead's Lament.

I was listening to Orchid today in the car, i don't hate it, but i don't know whether its better or worse than the latest albums, all i know is that Still Life is the greatest album ever. The Moor being one of my favourite songs ever too
