Now im pissed because they fucked him over and he'll never recieve justice... but I don't exactly understand the logistics of this operation. To my understanding it is a royalties organisation that has failed to pay right?
why exactly can't the artists take them to court? Is there a slip in the contract or something?

Umm, I see April Wine on there and I know they're still performing. I'd be surprised they're not on top of this. There's people on there that I don't remember being recording artists, but stars.Anna Marie Alberghetti, for one. And some of those oldies like the Ames Brothers have been dead for years now.
There's a lot of oldies I recognize on there.
