just saw the show last night, it was pretty badass! we got there after hellwitch or hellwytch played..but the other 4 bands were all really good. the club almost didn't let me take my camera in there but i asked the owner and he said it was ok. the funny thing is that my camera distracted them from my roommates camera that takes video..and video cameras and professional cameras we're allowed. i got a couple videos..but they probably suck ass. wasn't trying to get kicked out for making a video..so i covered the display screen and just pointed the camera in the general direction. i haven't seen them yet, but i'll try to figure out a way to upload them. i'll put up some pics later when i'm at home and get a chance to sort through them.
i hope basstendencies made it home alright..we were pretty beat after the show and didn't get back to my house till a little after 1. luckily for me i just smoked and went to bed...he had to drive back to the other coast of florida for work tomorrow.

fear not, i am alive and well.that show was the shit.i saw 3 sick bassists, and got to talk to stefan fimmers for a little bit. driving across the state at 2 in the morning did suck some serious ass though.  |

DF did play for a long fucking time. i enjoyed seeing them, as im not incredibly familiar with their stuff. i even went outside and shot the shit with some people for about 20 minutes in the middle of their set, and they played for a good long while after i got back. this was one of the few shows ive been too that i thoroughly enjoyed every band, great line up.

Yeah, I saw em tuesday night at house of blues. There wasnt too many scene kids, I only counted a few and they couldnt have made themselves into bigger targets(tight pants, hardcore dancing, and rooster haircuts).

Say this tour on it's second day in Philly, had a HUUUUGGGGEEE crowd filled with 14 years olds in SLipknot shirts. The line was wrapped all the way around the block, luckily i cut in line and got in. Opening band was really bad except for their cover of a Suffocation song. Necrophagist was far from impressive, very boring, and had ok sound. Dying Fetus destroyed everyone, amazing sound, amazing performance, just fucking crushed. Left after that as I've seen Cannibal Corpse a good 5 times and each time it was the same only each time they play more and more terrible new material. I was also dead tired from moshing to Dying Fetus and had friends and beer waiting for me at a nearby Chinese place. Well worth the $20 to see Necrophagist suck and Dying fetus kill everyone.

I've seen the two bands I had any interest in seeing before (DF and CC), but Relapse could get me in for free so I went...sometimes DM shows can get pretty boring.

How can one band have bad sound and another band not? For concerts everyone except the headlining band uses the same damn equipment
