DESTRUCTION
i only have one Destruction cd, well actually its a cd with 2 releases. i love it.!!!!!!!
someone reccomend me some good Destruction cds, because i heard some weerent good?  yes. ill shower those who do wiht smooches and passionate file transfers.

Ok, I may catch shit for this, but as good as the Antichrist was hailed to be, it's very, very, overrated. Destruction are a decent band, but they seem to be kind of pedestrian alot of the time.
The new one is pretty good, but overrall, Destruction have to be taken on a song by song basis. Metal Discharge was ok, and All Hell Breaks Loose was decent, but it seems that they have yet to release a completely good album.

The Mad Butcher EP is one of my favourites, it's from 1987. I like Destructions newer stuff too, Inventor of Evil and Metal Discharge are both amazing albums.

i picked up the Metal Discharge cd from some store for like 6 bucks...it isn't bad, but it isn't great. They aren't a band that I could listen to their cd all the way through...kind of like the band Toxik, or Kill'em All by Metallica....have to skip tracks cuz they are shitty...

The riffs on Release From Agony are prettty technical, but from what I have heard, Cracked Brain is the best. I need to get that one

I have their first 4 albums and the "Mad Butcher" EP. Got "Cracked Brain" about a week ago and I reckon it's as good as "Release From Agony" my other Destruction favourite. How does "The Antichrist" compare to their older work?

Yea that's right. It has Andre Grieder instead. He doesn't sound as evil as Schmier, but there's plenty of interesting riffs and further improved solos.  |

Go for the 80's era stuff like Infernal Overkill, Mad Butcher and some of the other ones mentioned above. The 90's stuff isn't as hot but have a listen yourself as you may like it more.  |
