I never write any of my grindcore prior to recording. Everything I have ever recorded was written as the record button was pushed.
So to really answer this question...they aren't comming along so good. Hopefully in a month or so the equipment will be fixed. God I hope! |

Ah. Same here pretty much, but I have a little planning. When I decide 'hey I want to write a grind track' I brind my shit downstairs to the computer, think of a few 'riffs' if you may, add a random blasting part, figure out how to finish it off (this all takes me about 5 minutes) then I make the drumline on my shitty drum programing thing on the computer, and record guitars/vocals over it.

Nice. I have to use real drums though. A drum machine sounds way to fake. That is unless i'm making ANb kinda grind because it isn't humanly possible to go 10000 beats per minute. |

I disagree. I often get a rush from the music I listen to. I can't really explain it but just listening to a song can sometimes get my adrenaline pumping.
Can you honestly say you've never felt anything at all? Especially at a gig where your surrounded by other fans all getting into it do you just stand there and listen? There is a rush of adrenaline I get and it shows itself in singing along at the top of my voice, moshin in the pit, throwin my fist in the air. To me it's all about the passion and I can't help but get a rush from hearing music.
But to stay on topic I'd say it has to be Carcass. |
