Taylor Bow 7"
if you can find it. Kind of a cross between Infest and Ildjarn.

Man, I discovered Insect Warfare's World Extermination about a month ago and I can honestly say everything about that album is awesome. My Ultimate Ears headphones make that bass drum feel like it's pounding my chest!

IxWx is actually really good. When I heard of them I figured they were going to suck for some reason. Man, was I ever wrong.
Try to grab "Noise Grind Power Death" from 625 Thrashcore (53 track, single sided LP) or the split with Agoraphobic Nosebleed (because both sides are great).

Insect Warfare are fucking awesome.
When it comes to grind I like it old school: crusty, punky and (usually) sloppy, not too keen on death/gore based grind stuff (with a couple exceptions, especially in the case of Carcass clone bands).
My favourites are old Napalm, Brutal Truth, Nasum, Phobia, Rotten Sound, Terrorizer, Assuck, Repulsion, Jigsore Terror, Lock Up, Pig Destroyer, Regurgitate, Extreme Noise Terror, Doom, and the aforementioned Carcass-esque stuff like Haemorrhage, General Surgery, County Medical Examiners etc.

Remember the awesomeness of Insect Warfare? Still crying yourself to sleep at night following their demise? Then all gather round and be despondent no more, for Wormrot are here to grind you to the grave.
Abuse is one of the most exciting records I've heard since, well, World Extermination and I recommend that anybody with even only a passing interest in grindcore give these Singaporeans a whirl.

Wormrot is pretty cool, but, along with Insect Warfare, there isn't any too special or significant about it for me. They both serve their purpose well, however. If these guys had been around 4 or 5 years ago, I would have been in heaven.

Grind?
Carcass, Napalm Death and Insect Warfare all the way. Exhumed were pretty cool too but I won`t classify this as Grind

Check out their back catalogue, too. At War With Grindcore and Endless Execution through Violent Restitution fucking rage. Fucking rules, drummer from PLF plays as well.
But on this subject I would also recommend Excruciating Terror.

Magrudergrind and Noisear are my favorite grind as of lately. Anyone into them?

Discordance Axis is amazing. They're definitely up there with bands like Assuck, Nasum, and Brutal Truth. The Inalienable Dreamless is so damn good. Jouhou as well. Too bad they split up.

I've never heard Assuck.
EDIT: Checking out Gridlink's Orphan right now and it is fucking awesome. Thanks for the rec!

I've not actually heard Orphan yet, I just knew that Gridlink was Jon Chang's new band. I read somewhere that Orphan was only 12 minutes long - I'm not paying £12.99 for 12 minutes!!

It is only 12 minutes long, but its worth every second. I haven't bought it yet (downloaded it first) but after listening once I'm going to grab it. I'm sure you can find it cheaper than that!

Sweet. I think "Scopedog" is my favorite track. The entire album is fucking caustic and Jon's screaming is seriously maniacal. It has a very Pig Destroyer flavor. Speaking of PD, what the fuck have they been up to? They've got to be due for an album soon. I'd kill to see them live again.
By the way, I think this is like the 10th time I've seen Anthems as your album of the day. This is right.
