Well, at least they covered Patera and not Pantera. That could have been bad.
I don't like the song Walk that much and I definatly don't like Avenged. I don't like the cover either.

The cover wasn't too bad. Don't like the sound of the guitar or the toms. Guitar is too quiet too distorted. Solo wasn't too bad. Toms sounded too trashy sounding. It sounded like he was hitting a bunch of hollow bins with sticks. Love the vocals. The vocalist for A7X gives off this interesting energy that seperates him from the other "whiny-singing" emo boys. He still uses that rock "grunt" (not growl) that you hear from, like, old rock bands. He really got the vocals down for this song.
I love Pantera. I'm not quite sure about Avenged Sevenfold. Some of their stuff is good, and the rest sounds too pop rock.

Why when bands do a Pantera cover is it always Walk??? Has it become Pantera's 'Enter Sandman' or 'Paranoid'  It would be much more fun if they covered one from the Glam era

Can't think of an easier song to cover. Couldn't go to a concert without hearing a Walk cover last summer, that would maybe get through the first chorus. Gotta be the easiest shit in the world to do.
Paul is, I think, Phil Anselmo's twin brother, who replaced him as a member in all of his various bands when he died of a heroin overdose back in 1994. Kinda like Lynyrd Skynyrd. It'd help explain the fairly sudden change (can't say 'radical') in character and the quality and consistency of his performances. I can only wonder at how Mortal_Lament got privy to this information.

Well im actually a big fan of pantera....buttttt, that was just luck, i actually meant phill, if that information is true then it was a very lucky coincidence 
But, the band are pretty queer, i cannot stand them..for some reason the lead guitarist can sweep, very well too , but this cover isnt so bad, i dont care what they look like, its pretty close
