Hmm it could be a Carvin. I'll see if there is any Yamahas that look like this. I thought he always played an Ibanez. Because Ibanez have basses that look just like this but the headstock through me off.

Not even close dude. It's one of those Peavy grind basses, they call them grind basses because they're really easy to play fast on. I played one before and works great for death metal, it's even got good tone.

Does anyone know the exact Cirrus model name? All the ones on the Peavey website have 5 or 6 dials and this one only has 4.
Holly shit these are fucking expensive!

Yea thats a Peavey Cirrus, not a Peavey Grind. The Grind's are cheaper. The Peavey Cirrus dosent really have different models, just different combinations of woods and finishes.

So are they like a custom shop of sorts?
Man, why are they so expensive...that was a retorical (sp?) question.

Well, technically I guess it's a Peavey Cirrus, but both the Grind and Cirrus pretty much play and sound the same so I just classify it as a grind bass.

It's a five string Peavey Grind. It looks exactly like my six string. Good basses.

I already covered this, its a Cirrus, not a Grind. Grind's do not have laminate tops or those kinds of wood. Grind's are made of a spice wood called Imbuya, Cirrus' basses can be made of a number of different woods like Walnut and Alder with Laminate tops like Bubinga, Redwood, Quilted and Flamed maple and such. And it is obvious in that pic that that Peavey has a lighter body wood (like Alder) and a dark top laminate wood (like Walnut).

You can also see that the Grind has a portion taken out by the treble side for easier slapping. Also Grinds are made overseas, Cirrus' are made in the US so in no way are they the same bass.
