The Peavey Grind is made out of a wood called Imbuya and dosent have any type of urethane/polyurethane finish on it. Not only does the bass pictured in this thread have a gloss finish, but it clearly has a lighter body wood, alder perhaps, with a darker laminate top wood. Grinds do not have nor can be purchased with laminate tops because they are a cheaper model that is made overseas.
