I used to have hair to just above my nipples, then I shaved it, and now its just a few mm. I like it much better this way, long hair just gets in the way.

I liked it when i had it and was doing stuff with it, but other than that was much more of a hassle. Especially when you work somewhere with a shit ton of dust and dirt. It gets in you're hair and feels like shit.

take a second look at that sentence 
the other day i blowdried my hair, which takes 30 minutes, and then the next day went to the beach and swam, fuck! actually, i dont even like to not blowdry it. if it dries by itself it will take for ever and get my shirt wet. if it tie it up, it will dry with a ugly ass crease where the tie was, which is ok if i dont plan on wearing it down until i next wash it. so, though its a hassle, i blowdry it. |

Um... no? Being a dancer I have been more or less forced to learn taking care of my hair - down below the shoulders and it will stay there - the girly way. Blowdrying every day after a shower, at least for five minutes, together with, and this is very important, a good brush. If you then wish to make it look good, you just keep at it with the hair dryer and finish it all off with the dryer at weak and a fine comb. If you have some experience at it, it is quite possible to force it to stay away from your face and eyes altogether in that wavy fashion that many girls just adore. Yes, I do it for that reason too.
