I used to have hair down to around my lumbar region. Now I have it down to 1/4 of an inch from my scalp. Hate to break it to you hippies, but this is much better.

You do have a point. Long hair isn't practical..I find as my hair gets longer, it's almost mandatory to put in into a pony tail, especially in this windy ass province.
Although, headbanging is so much enjoyable if you have long hair...however, eating soup is not.

mines a decent bit past my shoulders, but not where i want it. i have split ends, and worse. my hair is dry and "brittle" and it snaps off in hair ties and my ring. sucks.

Haha yeah, I used to have hair up to shoulder length but got it cut recently. So much better. Long hair just gets in the way of whatever you're doing, unless you're doing something which has you facing upwards.

Although thats actually a lie i'm usually out of my regulations often, but eh... getting hair cuts every week is something i usually forget to do.
I used to have a mohawk. 10 inches long. And before that.. i had a mohawk... 9 inches long.
