Good topic.
My favorite Morbid Angel albums are Blessed are the Sick and Formulas, and Gateways is the worst... don't let the first two songs trick you into thinking the whole album is good. Mostly filler.
My musical tastes are rather bizarre, as anyone who has ever discussed the band Suffocation with me can attest to.

Gateways really grew on me. I listen to it a lot more than either Covenant or Domination and about as often as Heretic or Altars.

To the Victor the Spoils is an amazing song. I and Secured Limitations both have awesome, ambient solos. God of the Forsaken is great, too; it's strange, though, it sounds like a song that Cannibal Corpse would have written around the Gallery/Bloodthirst time period.
