my first metal song that i learned was cold by at the gates, its not too tough, and its fun to play. a lot of at the gates songs sound hard but are fairly easy. fun stuff to play!

Those have to be my fav songs to play, and aside from the solos are all very easy songs, not that the solos are anything really difficult for most people, but a beginner would have a fun time with them.

Lately ive had a thing for playing Death songs. All of their stuff (if you can actually play it) is fun as shit to learn/play. Leprosy, Symbolic, and Lack of Comprehension are the ones i've been learning and playing.
