Metallica are back in the studio with new producer Rick Rubin!

It should be completely new for them, and Trujilio is quite a good bassist. I want ...And Justice Volume 2 (With bass track). Should be interesting at the least. Better than St. Anger and Reload.

Rick Rubin produced reign in blood. But no producer can save metallica. Unless the producer decides to write, record and perform new songs for them.

im actually interested to hear what is to come, i have heard interviews with hammet saying that the solos are gonna be there this time, which will be nice.

I love metallica's older stuff, but they are going to need more than solos to produce a decent album. Actually, if Hammett keeps up his wah-wah bullshit, solos might actually be counterproductive. Bottom line is I can't wait for their new album, and i'm really hoping they can end their careers on a positive note.
