400-500$ Bass
What's the best quality/price bass in the 400-500$ price range? I dont care if it's 4 or 5 strings. I play from Maiden, Metallica to death metal.

Yamaha, Ibanez, Peavey, Rockbass, Traben, Washburn, Dean, Jackson, Schecter.. Just try some out at your local music store, and see which is best for you.

The guy from Lamb of God used to use one. I don't really have an opinion on peavey, except that you're usually better off with companies that specialize in bass.

avoid peavy and dont use the guy from lamb of god as an example, they have good music but he plays with a pick and as far as im concerned peavy sounds shitty enough with fingers
