fuck im kinda pissed that i dont get to see DT, but then again my ticket reads "an evening with opeth" so with any doubts in mind, i simply look in the little ticket master envelope

WTF?? Who gives a shit if you don't get to see DT, considering you're gonna see the "evening w/ Opeth" thing. That's one of the concerts where it's an extended set and they also play never before played songs. |

They are, it clearly says that on their site. They won't play for the "night w/ Opeth" concerts though, as those have no supports.

I saw them Feb. 15, and it was awesome. The only thing that wasn't as great as listening to the album was the fact that they used clean guitar on the acoustic parts. Still kicked ass though. I lost my shoe in the mosh pit, but I found it shortly after. And when they were done with the encore and Peter was going by and touching people's hands, I ran up to the front, but he didn't notice me at first. Then right before he walked off stage I yelled "PETER!" and then he came over there and gave me a big high five. It was like a split second in Heaven. The whole experience was truely amazing. I'd kill to see them again.

I thought hes been using them for fucking ages (the videos i have of Forest of October and The Drapery Falls he uses them, the videos look kinda older too), his V's have always been Jacksons, he's used LP's aswell.

As much as I like Jacksons, I just think Opeth and Jacksons don't go together. They're more like Gibsons, and PRS style. |

So the Mrach 2nd Show, at the Chicago House of Blues, most orgasmic thing, I do beleive I've ever seen, just nothing could possibly beat it...well...maybe no chairs to fall over when they bust into Demon, but, still a badass fucking show....
