fender chorus..i need new amp

when i got this amp i knew very little about amps and playing guitar.
it is a fender chorus.
i have a ibanez GSA20 and replaced the pickups with dimarzio x2n and humbucker from hell. i have the metalmaster pedal and digitech rp50 wich sucks for metal but i play some floyd with it.

anyways i cant get a good metal sound out of this amp and pedal.
i want a death metal sound and an arch enemy sound.i dont know how to get there solo sound with the sustained notes, i like that.

i am not a rich man so i need an amp for like 300-450 at the most.
and i did look at all the amp threads and im confused as shit.
i just need a few choices .

Sell the Fender chorus, and use all the money to find a used Peavey 5150 combo,or similar.

i tried stuff without any pedals and the gain is laughable for any kinda metal at all

also the 5150 you said there is similar.. can you give me some names of ones that are similar. cuz right now i see em for like 700 and i aint close to that kinda cash for awhile

sorry my mind gets confused when i try to write what im thinking.

he said there are similar amps to the peavey 5150, i wanted to know what those were. i definately dont want a similar amp as mine.
what pedal would you suggest to use for now?
i liked the uber metal because it had noise compressor with it, i suppose i can always get a noise gate pedal and use it with another.
hope it makes sense this time

i looked around ebay for some of those amps listed i found a few and i also found some other stuff ..
i found Crate G250 212 Combo amplifier, it says it was made in 86-87, and i like the price, but i have no idea how these play.
heres a list

Crate G250 212 Combo amplifier built in 86-87

Crate gx-1200h w/ foot switch it is a head. can i play on just a head and get the other part when i have more money

CRATE GX 130C 2X12 GUITAR AMP

CRATE GFX212 COMBO...the reverb doesnt work on this one
i dont know i may be totally wrong about what im looking at
and if these are no good i will keep looking on his list and ebay at different times,im just fed up with my amp. and thanks SO much for helping my dumbass out
