Right on! Culinary is one of my faves to. Also...

Psycroptic - The Colour of Sleep - especially the riffs from 3:02 - 4:29

Damaged - Nails

Morbid Angel - Dawn of the Angry - that riff at 1:15(still haven't seen a tab for that riff anywhere)

At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul

I can't say these are my fave riffs of all time(that's just too hard to pick), but these are definetly some of my personal faves.

All you nu-metalheads should give that last one a listen....you'd be very surprised.

The real heavy ones-

1. Nile- Sacrifice Unto Sebek (1:30)

5. Pantera- The Great Southern Trendkill (1:54)

Light non-metal Ones-

1. Steve Vai- The Audience is Listening (the clean jazz-ish riff.. hell and the rest of the song)
2. Joe Satriani- Cool #9 (The first/main riff)
3.Led Zeppelin- Black Dog
4. The Beatles- Helter Skelter (Chorus riff.)
5.Steve Morse- Tumeni Notes (first riff)

'm bored as hell so i'll make a little list

Metallica - To Live is to die, the riff starting at 4:30 mins into the song, harmonizing at its best. the acoustic riffs are also great

Opeth - Blackwater park, clean riff (2:45 into the song) i can listen to that riff for hours without getting bored :P

Avenged Sevenfold - Unholy confessions, intro riff, i know the band isn't exactly metal but that riff is awesome\m/

Children of bodom - shitload of awesome riffs, lake bodom, towards dead end, bodom after midnight etc.....

In Flames - Moonshield, intro

King diamond - the family ghost - the whole song's loaded with ass kicking riffs, my favorites being the intro and the one starting at about 2:54 into the song

1. Obscura - Gorguts (0:25)
2. Obscura - Gorguts (1:26)

My two favourite riffs possibly ever those two

3. Cryptopsy - Endless Cemetery from (1:40 and all the riffs up to 2:48, 2:18 particularly, flawless)

4. Augury - Beatus first main riff
5. Augury - Ever know peace again. The 7/8 riff at the end

There are so many though I love from those three bands alone
