Bends, dammit.

Ok, I need some help here, the shit ain't cooperating.

I got eight identical notes, the second tied to the first, for timing reasons:

22----(22)-22-22-22--22--22--22

What I want but can't do is this: first note (with the tied one) should bend 1/2 over the (first) note's duration and hold for the next two notes. Then it should gradually release over the final four notes until the pitch is back to standard.

Can anyone do this in powertab? Thanks a bunch!

Thanks, that helped me already!

Just got a question about the gradual release... This is what I meant actually (see attachment). The only thing is: I want the release to be gradual over the last four notes, not just over the last note. Is that possible in powertab?

AH damn, I'm not sure. If there is on thing that guitarpro does better with over powertab, its the ease of use with bends. Sorry, not sure. Maybe check into the powertabs.net forums?

hey i dont know shit about programming that but if you have a bad sound card bends wont show up no matter what. theyll probably sound like slides or most likely not sound at all unless you have a great soundcard. (PT and guitar pro and ALL midi programs experience this, if you dont know what exactly a midi is its like one of those roll papers you put into a player-piano. your computer actually plays the file and thats why its so small. its like sheet music )

if the bends are marked and entered correctly and it doesnt work, its probably that

No, my computer plays bends and everything... I have another pc that's about 8 years old now... that one doesn't

@Metalthrashingmad: no problem, I guess that's just a detail impossible to fix with powertab. thanks for the help!
