i have a very limited knowledge of guitar but i like this scale, what i like about it is you can do this chord, like a power chord but your ring finger is on the third string down instead of the second. if that makes sense. that chord goes thru out the scale and makes kinda like a middle eastern type sound

Davie,

Wouldn't you have to mute the "A" for it to be a power chord?

the pattern for diminished is easy, its whole step, then half step then it repeats that pattern for a while

yea, the A would be muted for that octave type chord. tech seems to describe this octave type chord, so that's what I was trying to explain.
