I really wish it did'nt have a trem. I mean I love trems, I have them on 95% of my guitars. But there must be so much fucking tension on this guitar. Plus what string gauge would you use?
I don't think Ibanez is releasing it. It's probably just custom. There has not been anything on the Ibanez site about it.
I would probably never buy one but I would try it out.

here's a kik-ass site
Conklinguitars.com they have alot of 7strings , 8-strings and a pic of a
9-string they build. and they built a 36 fret and the fan design is bad-ass. their the people that designed the first 8-string that meshuggah used and designed the pickups for meshuggah's 7 and 8 strings. the (M-series pickup) i think but now i think meshuggah use all ibanez. i've been trying to buy one from ibanez but i can't find a ibanez custom shop that will build a left-handed version . so i'm going with Conklinguitars.

Atleast get it right also, Nevborn makes meshuggahs 8-strings, and lundgren makes the M-7 Pickup, and custom wound M-8, conklin just sells lundgrens. |
