Course you were joking!  So was I, largely, altough I do enjoy a bit of conversational dodging. Of course, some of the spice of it is lost in writing, but what the heck.
Swedish is my native language, and there's that. Now, as for the question in my last post, it sprung from what happened when I was playing with a bassist last week. For the hell of it I started to try to incorporate some reagge elements I do know into a sort of melodic metal song we often play, and he just carried on and did some sort of samba or whatever. Anyway, the result was, if not great music, so at least a good laugh!
